Number one on our list is the Hyatt Place New York Yonkers. Not only is this our hotel our first recommendation to travel junkies and adventurers from all across the world, but it is full of great amenities that are sure to keep the whole family happy. Wake up to the smell of bacon and eggs in the morning as you enjoy your free breakfast that is included in your stay.
Now that you’re satisfied and energized head on over to the fitness center and get in your quick workout session to finish your perfect start to your day. Now that you’ve got a sweat going jump on over to the pool and dive into the refreshing water to cool off! Once it’s time for your 2:00 pm work call feel free to take it in the meeting facility where you can be alone and ready to focus.
Maybe throughout the day, you realize that you’ve accumulated a pile of clothes you’ve been changing in and out over the course of your activities… no worries! Toss them in the laundry and go take your dog on a walk, since it’s okay to have him with you in the hotel.
The Hyatt Place is wonderful at accommodating large groups for family gatherings and making everyone feel like they have a second home. One Hyatt Place guest commented on her experience with her large group gathering at the hotel by saying, “This was the host hotel for my family reunion. Staff welcomed the 80 person group such that we “adopted” them for the weekend! The facility was super clean, loved the elevator security system, adequate gym and pool area, and breakfast had good variety. The location being in the midst of the mall was an added extra!”
#2 Royal Regency Hotel
Number two on the list is the Royal Regency Hotel. This Hotel tramps its competition in luxury and elegance. On vacation, you should feel as if you are getting the royal treatment and this is just the place to experience so. You really do feel like you are in a palace when you walk in because of the detail to design of the building. Not only is staying in this Hotel an experience that you’ll never forget but there are lots of options for Hosting special events!
Is your reason for coming to the Big Apple for your wedding day? Then the Royal Regency is your place. The tasteful architecture and artistic interior will have your guesses gasping as they arrive. With its spacious rooms and fancy feel it will give you the royal experience that any bride hopes for on her big special day.
Another area where the Royal Regency takes the cake is its location with places to see and things to do. You’ll never be at a loss for things to do as great entertainment for you and your family is nearby. Lego Land is within a six-minute drive, and the beautiful Sprain Lake Golf Course is just up the road. The good variety of family-friendly attractions close by leaving you options as you plan out your adventures from your cozy hotel room at theRoyal Regency.

When you are having breakfast, there is nothing more healing than a smile and a friendly hello; especially when you are not feeling your best I stayed at this hotel because it was close to the hospital where my brother was recovering from severe health issues. As of this day, he is much better. Every morning Mercedes took the time to ask how I was feeling. I travel extensively due to my profession, (fashion photographer) and I have visited many countries. Not every place knows the importance of human relations and not everyone can blend with people. Mercedes also took the time to find me an Apple turnover that I love with coffee. She has exceptional customer service and communication skills. It was a good decision to stay at the Royal Regency…”
#3 Wingate by Wyndham Haven Park
Although this Hotel is a couple of miles out of Yonkers we just had to include it in our top 3 because it is definitely worth the extra drive. This Hotel offers a modern and even futuristic style that is sure to make you feel like a premium guest in every room. The vibe here is
unbeatable with its sleek living spaces and its clean and tidy feel.
With its own restaurant, cafe, and bar in-house you’ll always have a full tummy and a drink in your hand. If you’re on your honeymoon and don’t plan on going out much, then you’ll love the room service and daily housekeeping.
If you have a furry friend with you then The Wingate by Wyndham Haven Park is a top option as this is a pet-friendly hotel. Not only will their staff be happy to accommodate your cute dog but there are also near parks to enjoy a playful afternoon. Central park is within walking distance only two miles away!
As you can see this hotel has many things to offer as well as its a great location, but don’t take it from us, hear what a guest had to say about their experience staying at the hotel, “Every staff member was super helpful! Check-in was easy and there’s a valet parking lot attached to the hotel (independent company- a little expensive though). Able to Uber to Yankee stadium in a 10-minute drive. Subway station literally right around the corner if you wish to travel to the city! Highly recommend!”
